NLH DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATES PROFILE

NLH Development Associates, founded in 2005 is a Professional Coaching  
practice that is committed to helping clients achieve greater fulfillment and
success in their careers and lives.  

Prior to starting the company, Nancy Horwitz was a high-level Human Resources
manager and Senior Program Manager (Leadership Development) for one of the
world's largest Software Companies.  There, she developed a program to develop
emerging leaders for the company in addition to other work in management
development, employee relations, executive coaching as well as traditional HR
activities.

During her corporate tenure, Nancy gained an appreciation of the challenges
faced by employees during times of organizational change, job loss/change,
career change and life change.  She was struck by the number of people who
were disconnected from their dreams and values and as a result, leading
unsatisfying lives.  While doing work to identify and clarify her own passions and
values, Nancy realized that she wanted to blend her passions in the service of
others which led her to start her coaching career to assist others to do the same.  
Founded in early 2005, NLH Development Associates has worked with both
private and corporate clients with the aim of assisting them to get "unstuck" and
move forward to achieve their goals and dreams.  

Nancy holds a B.A. from Colgate University, an MSEd. in Counseling Psychology
from the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of  Coach Training Institute
(CTI).    She is an approved Coach-guide with VocationVacations
(www.vocationvactions.com) and is involved in a number of coaching and training
organizations.
