WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching is recognized as a simple, fast and powerfully effective means of creating
lasting and sustaining change in your life.  It is an ideal approach for anyone who's
ready to break past limiting beliefs and behavior and bridge the gap between where
they are now and where they want to be. Coaching can be a very valuable aid anyone
who is experiencing a change or transition in their lives or is seeking support to
achieve a goal.

Coaching can be applied in every area of life including career (advancement,
satisfaction, change), relationships,  work-life balance, health, life transition
 (e.g.
starting college, relocation,
retirement, empty nest transition) or desire for an
enhanced quality of life.  In addition to these areas, Executive Coaching also focuses
on leadership effectiveness, management skills and enhancing one's emotional
intelligence for greater success.

HOW DOES COACHING WORK?
Coaching is a partnership between coach and client that supports the achievement of
goals identified by the client.  It's action oriented.  It's supportive.  It's honest.  And it
works.    We begin by getting to know each other;  this starts in the initial free coaching
consultation.  Early in the process we work together to formally identify your goals and
values, through a number of powerful tools including
a Strategic Life Planning
Process:  The Creation of the Future Self .  After we listen to who and where you want
to be, we perform a gap analysis:  what is the gap between where you are and where
you want to be?

We'll close the gap by getting you past  your self-limiting thinking, reducing stress and
improving efficiency, and getting you to stretch and try new things and ways of being.
We'll put in place strategies to reach your goals, tactical steps to carry out your
strategy, and day to day accountability to keep you focused o -- all while remaining
aligned with and true to your values.

HOW OFTEN DOES A COACH MEET WITH HER CLIENT?
Variable, depending upon the needs of the client.  Some clients meet weekly with
their coach, while others meet 2 or 3 times/month.   Coaching can take place over the
phone, in person or a combination of the two.   In fact, some coaching between
sessions is done via IM or Email.  Sessions typically range between 30-45 minutes.
